Register for Junior Tennis Lessons

To register for any class or program:

1) Download and print the registration form here, fill out and mail it along with a check to: Douglas County Tennis at 10651 Clarkeville Way, Parker, CO 80134

2) Include the CLASS CODE on the memo line of the check

Information:

  • Weather Policy - The first cancelled class because of weather will not be made up.
  • Additional cancelled classes will be offered a make up but the time/day may change.
  • Location: All classes/programs will are at Bison Park unless otherwise noted
  • Coach/Student Ratio: Class ratios will not exceed 8 students per coach.

QUICKSTART CAMPS

AGES: 4-10 • COST: $64 • 4-DAY SESSIONS

These programs are designed for young kids to learn and play tennis FAST. Courts, racquets and balls are “right-sized” by age. Players are divided into ability levels by court, and the emphasis is getting players to actually rally and play games.

COLORADO JUNIOR TEAM TENNIS

AGES: 8-18, Boys and Girls • COST: $325

In Colorado Junior Team Tennis, the team concept emphasizes fun, fitness and friends. The focus in this kind of play is on enjoying the game. Junior Team Tennisis a 6 to 8 week program of team practice and match play for boys and girls, ages 8 to 18, who want to play tennis on teams.

The age division cut-off is the age of the player as of August 12, 2014. Teams are comprised of players of similar gender, age and skill, and they compete against other teams from the same geographic region in one of four age divisions: 10 & under, 12 & under, 14 & under or 18 & under. Within these age divisions, there are levels for beginner, intermediate and advanced players. The format for Junior Team Tennis is 2 singles matches and 1 doubles match. USTA MEMBERSHIP IS NOT REQUIRED.

Takes place at Railbender Park

Practices: Tuesdays and Thursdays – ages 14-18 will practice 3:00-4:30 pm, ages 8-13 will practice 4:30-6:00 pm.

HIGH SCHOOL PREP CAMPS

AGES: 13-18, Boys and Girls • COST: $105

This class is for players currently playing or who wish to play on their high school team. Fundamentals drills and match play will prepare to succeed at the high school level! Develop the forehand, backhand, serve, volley and overhead. Players will work on doubles and singles strategies in game play situations.
